BBC Fall Retreat ~ Schedule of Activities Reservation deadline is October 1, 2021
Friday:
- BBC Officers and Board Members meeting at 2:00pm.
- BBC members can Check in at the Holt Lodge anytime after 3:00pm on Friday Oct. 22.
- Time to relax and enjoy the surroundings with some old friends and new ones.
- Dinner will be at 6:00pm

Friday Night Program 7:30pm:
Northern Saw-what Owl Studies, presented by Bill Beatty. Bill Beatty is a long time member of the Brooks Bird Club and a renowned naturalist. For many years, Bill Beatty has shared his vast knowledge of the natural world to many, opening their eyes and minds to the beauty of the natural world around us, especially here in WV. |

Saturday:
- Early morning bird walk. (time TBA)
- Breakfast 7:30am ~ 9:00am
- Field Trips leave: 9:00am
- Late afternoon social gatherings
- Dinner will be at 6:00pm

Saturday Night Program 7:30pm:
Salamanders, Snakes, and Memories: 52 Years Searching West Virginia’s Mountains and Valleys for Amphibians and Reptiles, presented by Dr. Thomas K. Pauley. Dr. Thomas K. Pauley is Professor of Biological Sciences at Marshall University, Huntington WV. Dr. Pauley has conducted numerous herpetological studies since the 1960's, focusing on research in WV. |
