Nestled in the mountains of West Virginia is the Terra Alta Mountain Nature Camp.
A nature camp geared to adults wanting to connect and learn more about the natural world around us.

MNC has a long rich history with the Brooks Bird Club stemming back to the very beginnings of the BBC.  The club's name sake A.B. Brooks founded the Terra Alta Nature Camp back in 1929 and MNC continues to this day. Located on 18 acres of undeveloped land  adjacent to Terra Alta Lake, the MNC offers birds, plants and serenity. There are many great areas to explore within a short distance from the camp, so campers can take guided day tours to special natural areas.

The Terra Alta Mountain Nature Camp has tent camping only accommodations, but participants can also enjoy MNC by staying at the adjacent Alpine Lodge (not included in price).  There is however a meeting lodge on the MNC property where delicious home cooked meals are prepared daily for participants.  A new modern shower house is on the property with plenty of hot water and flush toilets.
