2007 Schedule

 
Winter meetings are held indoors at the Schrader Center, Oglebay Park.  Bring a covered dish and own table service.  Hot drinks provided.  Meal at 6:30 pm, Meetings began 7:45.

Feb. 20        Program by Ken Dague – Appalachian Trail

March 20     Program by Ryan Tomazin – Culture of China

April 17       Program by Janet Lash – Hot Time in Alaska (global warming)
                   No Quiz due to length of program

 
Summer meetings are held outdoors.  Bring covered dish, own table service, and lawn chairs.  Drinks provided.  Meet at 2:00 pm.

May 20        At Greg Eddy’s – take WV Rt. 88 about 1 mile past Oglebay Park.  At the bottom of the hill past Mull’s Grocery Store turn left to Clinton Hills.  Go up the hill, stay left to 13 Aster Drive.


June 17        At Malvern & Rosie Campbell’s – from I-70, take Exit 208, follow SR 149 south to SR 147.  Turn right, go to Bethesda.  At 4-way stop turn left, go 3 miles south on Rt. 26 to second mailbox on left.


July 8           At Greg & Jill Park’s – From I-70, take Exit 202, Rt. 800 north about 9 miles, turn right at 4-H Camp sign on to Rouggen Road.  Turn right on the second road to the right.  (West Lake Road) Stop and turn into first driveway on right (Jo-El Acres), 72170 West Lake Road. 

 

Aug. 18       At Scott & Janice Emrick’s – From I-70, take Exit 202 (Woodsfield/Barnesville), go south on Rt. 800 for 17 miles.  Emrick’s is the fifth house on the right past Monroe County line.

 

Sept. 15       At Bill Mead’s – same directions as Malvern & Rosie Campell except the mailbox is the first on left.

 

Return to indoor meetings at Schrader Center, Oglebay.  Same arrangements as above.

Oct. 16        Program by Greg Eddy – Australia    Quiz by Dot Broemsen

Nov. 20       Program by Juanita Slater – Greece/Turkey Trip     Quiz – Carl Slater

 Dec. 18        Christmas Party 6:30.  Bring covered dish & $1 unisex gift for exchange.
