The Brooks Bird Club, Inc., in order to foster love of nature and conservation of our natural resources, has established the scholarship program as part of the club's yearly Foray to various sections of West Virginia to study and record what is found there of the flora and fauna.

The scholarships are funded by members' contributions to the club's Scholarship Fund.
