2000 FORAY INFORMATION
Location: Concord College, Athens, WV, Mercer County
Elevation: 2,600 feet
Habitat: Varied
Common Birds: Blue-winged Warbler, Golden-winged Warbler
Parks: Pipestem State Park, Bluestone Lake State Park
Program Emphasis:  Breeding Bird Surveys, Bird Population Studies, Field Work-Flowering plants, mammals, herptiles, insects, and amphibians. 
Daily Activities: Program of lectures & field trips for campers who wish to participate.
Rules: Contribute your share toward making Foray a success.
Accommodations: Wilson Hall (dormitory style) 2 people per room.  Full baths with showers are centrally located servicing 4 rooms each.  Couples & families will be sectioned together.  Bring your own bedding.
Camping: Parking lot space for trailers adjacent to Wilson Hall.  No hook-ups available.  Grassy area directly behind Wilson Hall for tents.  Restrooms & bath facilities in Wilson Hall.
Silent Auction: Held during Foray for the scholarship fund.  Donated items are needed.

What to Bring: Towels, soap, bedding, rain gear, walking shoes, boots, camera, binoculars, hangers, flashlight, & notebook.  Books on natural history to loan to the library.  And, don't forget a MUG!
